Midsummer (June 23)

Midsummer in Sweden is something special. Here you will have the chance to experience a real midsummer festivity in the viking style with a leafy maypole. The Viking Town is closed to the public this day, only vikings are welcome. According to tradition SVEGs Byalag are organizing this grand summer festivity. Visiting vikings are welcome to participate, but must register first using this form. Participants are to bring their own food and drink.

If you want to participate in the Midsummer celebration, check the box below.

The Viking Days (June 26 - June 29)

You will find that the special Viking Days are held at the Viking town of Foteviken every year between Midsummer and the time of the Viking market, as many Viking reenactors want to arrive a few days before the actual market take place. This year we intend to create meetings for the various crafts at the new experimental site by the Viking Town to experiment and exchange experience together.

If you want to participate, check the box below.

Viking Market (June 30 - July 2)
